Arsenal star denies Valencia contract

Yesterday La Liga side Valencia claimed that Arsenal midfielder Edu had signed a pre-contract with them, but today the player has denied any such suggestion and stated that he is still hoping to sort out a new deal with Arsenal.

"My priority is to sort things out with Arsenal as soon as possible,"

"It would be best to wait for what we decide here and then I will make a final decision."

There are still plenty around though who believe that his stalling over signing a new contract means he wants away from Highbury.
