Bayern target wants Newcastle move

Bayern Munich’s Samuel Kuffour wants to move to Newcastle United according to the player’s agent, it was revealed earlier that negotiations between the tow clubs were in an advanced state, and now it seams that the player is ready to come out publicly and do his bit to ensure the move.

Graeme Souness has already strengthened Newcastle’s defence this month with the signatures of Celestine Babayaro and Jean-Alain Boumsong, but obviously feels that he still needs more before the transfer window closes.

Agent Fabio Parisi stated:

"Bayern would like the player to go now because he could leave for free at the end of the season."

"So if they receive a good offer something could happen."

"Newcastle is a great club and the Premiership is of interest to Sammy."
