Inter Milan move on Newcastle target

Inter Milan are preparing a bid to lure Newcastle target Kuffour, to the San Siro. Newcastle had agreed a 500,000 fee with Bayern Munich for the Ghana international, whose contract in Germany ends in the summer. But Inter now hope to scupper the deal.

They are willing to offer Emre to the German side in exchange for Kuffour and it is thought that this could well tempt Bayern.

The player himself is still said to prefer a move to England, but his agent enjoys a close relationship with Inter supremo Massimo Moratti, so Inter feel that they have a better than average chance of landing the player.

Like most things though the final decision will lie with the player, so only time will tell.
