Spurs player makes German switch

Kasey Keller has left Spurs to sample life in Germany with Borussia Monchengladbach, the move had been rumoured for a while but finally became official today. Having lost his place at Spurs to Paul Robinson, the American keeper felt it was time to move on.

Signing an 18 month contract in The Bundesliga, the player had this to say:

``I'm looking forward to a new chapter in my career,''

``The Bundesliga is one of the three best leagues in Europe and the stadiums are always full. Football plays a major role in Germany.''
