Spurs target lays into manager

Spurs target Egyptian Striker Mido has aimed a parting shot at his soon to be ex-manager Luigi Del Neri over his supposed treatment since joining Roma. It is widely supposed that Mido will join Spurs in the next few days on loan,

but he has added Del Neri, to the ever growing list of people he has fallen out with in football.

In fact I hope Spurs realise exactly what it is they are letting themselves in for. While he undoubtedly has a great deal of talent, he falls out with just about everyone around him, given any opportunity.

Anyway his quotes, while not the worst by any stretch of the imagination were this:

"Del Neri never gave me a chance,"

"I was never a regular and when I did play it was in an unaccustomed role.”

"I came to Rome with great aspirations, leaving Marseille where I had a regular place.”

"With Rudi Voeller's departure my dreams failed. “

"I wait for a chance with my new team and with the Egypt national side because I want to show what Mido is capable of."
