Spurs: Mido in, out, shake it all about

It seems that the long transfer wrangle that is Egyptian striker Mido has finally come to an end, with him agreeing to join Spurs in an 18 month loan deal. Although few things are ever straightforward when it comes to Mido it does indeed seem that he has joined Spurs.

Of course there is still time for this to be yet another false Mido alarm, from a player that does seem to specialise in them, often from his own website, but on this occasion, it has been collaborated by some reliable sources.

He is undoubtedly a player of some quality and talent, who if he settles, could very well grace the premiership and be a welcome addition to the Spurs squad.

However he does seem to court trouble and falls out with just about everyone that happens to be available. Which one of the Mido’s Spurs have indeed signed remains to be seen, but White Hart Lane could become very interesting, very quickly if Mido is not kept happy.

To be fair to the player, he says he has grew a lot in the last two years and he is still young, but he has to be running out of chances, so if he does not want to see what could be his last big chance go astray, he should be willing to show what he is good at.*
