Spurs: Mido up for a fight

New spurs loan signing Egypt international has started his career at White Hart Lane by making all the right noises and promising that he is ready to fight for a place in the starting line up. Short of match practice, having only played a handful of games for Roma this season.

He realises that it is not going to be easy to dislodge Spurs strikers Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Fredi Kanoute, who have preformed well so far this season. But if there is one thing that Mido has proved during his 6 team career is he is not frightened of a fright.

In fact if he does manage to finally settle under a coach he could turn out to be the steal of the season. He does have a habit of falling out with coaches, but has proved that whenever he does find happiness in a place he will provide the goods.
