Crystal Palace: wake me up before you Coco

Crystal Palace attempted to land Internazionale defender Francesco Coco, on loan for the rest of the season, but have been told no way by Inter Milan. They had talks with Inter representatives,

with whom they enjoy a good relationship, but have been told that the player will remain in Italy until at least the end of the season.

However should they secure premiership survival they could have a good chance of landing the player in the summer. Inter were reluctant to release Coco at the moment because they are themselves short of defensive cover with only two left backs in the squad.

It is thought however in the Italian press that it is simply a matter of time before the player quits the San Siro and now Place have placed themselves in pole position to land him.
