Spurs target heads for Spain

Deportivo La Coruna have finalised a deal to take Milan defender Fabricio Coloccini to Spain for the rest of the season. Spurs were understood to be very interested in signing him, and in fact several sources were claiming he had indeed signed for Spurs on Saturday.

But now subject to a medical he is a Deportivo La Coruna player as his agent Marcelo Lombilla confirmed.

"We hope that there are no problems so that Fabricio can sign for La Coruna on today," said Lombilla.

He had earlier stated that the deal was just about done between Milan and Deportivo stating:

"Milan does not have any money problems and they have accepted the terms of payment that have been proposed by Depor.

"They only lack small details and we hope to solve those problems so that Fabricio can come to the club."
