Bolton light the Candela

Bolton have confirmed the signing of Roma defender Vincent Candela, who has signed a five month contract with the club and will fly in tomorrow, the player has fallen out of flavour at Roma and had made just three appearances for the Roman side this season.

Speaking in a press conference the player Stated:

"I have signed a five-month contract with Bolton."

"In June I will decide whether to continue to play for Bolton or retire from professional football."

"My decision to leave Roma had nothing to do with money; otherwise I would have stayed in Rome,"

"I want to prove to myself and to others that I can still continue to play well.
"Bolton are a good team and there are three or four players who speak French there so they will hopefully help me to adapt quickly."

"My experience at Roma has made me grow as a player and as a man."

"My legs are still trembling, having said goodbye to my team-mates."

"I would like to thank the club, my team-mates and the president for their support in my career at Roma."
