Adrian Mutu was unveiled as a Juventus player yesterday and wants to play Chelsea in the Champions League final.

The 25-year-old, who has reiterated his dream to play Chelsea in the final, was banned for 8 months after being found guilty of taking cocaine.

Chelsea terminated his contract straight away and the Romanian forward still holds a grudge.

Mutu’s ban lasts up until the 18th May, with the Champions League final taking place on the 25th.

Mutu said:

"I hope that I can play the last two Serie A games of the season and the Champions League final,"

"I am thinking about a Champions League final against Chelsea.”

"After everything that has happened to me, my life now has a meaning. I want to thank Juve for the opportunity they have given me. To be at Juve is just the maximum for me."

Mutu is also ecstatic to be back in Italian football.

He added:

"I missed Italian football. It’s not that at Chelsea I had problems with my team-mates because they were good people. In fact the first six months at Chelsea were fantastic, then the problems began.”

“I wouldn’t have believed that I would return to play with a top club. This experience has changed me. my mistakes have made me mature.”

"I know that as a footballer I have to focus on my job, because in order to maintain yourself at the highest level you also need that discipline in your personal life."
