Beckham's reign in Spain

David Beckham has spoken of his desire to stay at Real Madrid for the rest of his career, perhaps ending speculation of an imminent return to the premiership and Chelsea. It was thought that he was having a difficult time, in Spain.
But that appears to be wide of the mark now with new boss Wanderley Luxemburgo bringing back discipline and stability to Madrid. And its Beckham who has arguably benefited most from the change, with his game fully back on track.
Speaking to Marca, Beckham was quoted as saying:
"I want, and I'm convinced that I will, end my career at Real Madrid."
"In football you can never tell what's going to happen, but I still think that I've got a lot to give as a player and I would like to continue at one of the best clubs in the world, Real Madrid.
"I want to stay here for many more years, for as long as Real Madrid want me to stay.
"I've got over what happened last year. It's now in the past. Now I prefer to look ahead to 2005.
"My aim is to play good football, enjoy life in Spain and enjoy playing for Real Madrid.
"I'm very happy at the moment, the team is working much harder and I've still got a lot more to give."
