If Jose Antonio Reyes wants to leave Highbury then he only has to come and see his manager. That was the message from Arsene Wenger. Reyes, was tricked earlier in the week by a Spanish radio station into admitting that he would like to move to Real Madrid and was not 100% happy in London.

However far from being annoyed at the player Arsene Wenger understands the pressures of moving to a new country and stated:

"It's simple. If a player wants to leave, he just has to knock at my door and tell me."

"And then he has to bring a club that wants to buy him.”

"This is a big challenge for him. He made the decision to join us and when we signed him, we went into the challenge together of making him one of the big players in the world. “

"I feel for him. But when it doesn't go as well as he expected it to, he must show the strength needed. If he doesn't, he will not be happy. “

"I don't find it shocking that he would have a dream to play for Real Madrid because everyone has the right to have a club of his dreams in his own country. “

"But if you want to go abroad you have to accept it won't be easy. It's the same for everybody."
