Juventus midfielder Emerson’s family home in a residential quarter to the south of Rome was the victim of a Molotov cocktail attack over the weekend. Emerson’s villa had already been the target of vandals, since his controversial move to Juventus from Roma.

Emerson had been the subject of a 24.6 million bid by Chelsea which Roma president Franco Sensi, rejected, only to see the player later leave for Juventus. An event which has angered many fans.

Although there is absolutely no excuse for this mindless vandalism and the main concern now is for Emerson’s daughter.
