According to the Spanish press Newcastle United, Liverpool and Spurs are all interested in Deportivo La Coruna defender Cesar. Newcastle were rumoured to have made a bid during the January transfer window,

which was rejected, but now it seems that Deportivo could be about to change their minds and allow the player to leave in the summer.

The Spanish press have Newcastle as favourites to land the player, but Liverpool’s strong Spanish contingent could yet prove to be a factor. Spurs at the moment would seem to be the club with the least use for the player, but they are not to be ruled out.

Deportivo La Coruna, need the cash to strengthen their squad and it is believed a bid of around four million could secure him.
