The Getafe goalkeeper Javier Sanchez Broto, is claiming that Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sign him in the summer. The keeper, who has previously played in Scotland for Livingston and Celtic, is currently out with an injury.

His contract is up in the summer and there has been no talk of it being extended, amongst continual speculation in the Spanish press the player commented:

"It is true that they want me.''

''They have come to watch me three times this season during La Liga and the truth is that I want to go to England."

"I love the atmosphere in the grounds; there is no comparison with Spain."

"Nobody has said anything to me, but it is not the moment to get involved in arguments because we all have to concentrate on avoiding relegation.''
