Diego and Hargreaves for Spurs?

The summer could prove interesting for Spurs fans, with news today of two prospective targets, who could be making their way to White Hart Lane. First up is a target from last summer Santos young starlet Diego.

Spurs had tried to bring the young playmaker over last summer, but the lack of an EU passport proved to be problematic, so the bid was dropped. But now the player has managed to secure himself a passport it is expected that Spurs will once again return with a bid.

Next up is Bayern Munich's Owen Hargreaves, still keen to move to England and indeed it is rumoured that he came close to signing last summer but, rejected a move to Spurs at the last moment.

However he has kept in contact with Spurs' director of football, Frank Arnesen, and is hopeful of a move this summer.

"The timing wasn't right last summer but Frank told me to keep in touch," Hargreaves told the Daily Mail.

"To play for a club like Tottenham and live in London would be wonderful."
