A Roy of hope for Arsenal against Bayern

Terrible pun aside, Arsenal will not have to face Bayern Munich's Roy Makaay in the second leg of their Champions League clash this week after the player suffered a thigh injury, currently Bayern’s top scorer he is expected to be out for around two weeks.

This of course could give Arsenal a little hope ahead of what is going to be a difficult task in reversing a 3-1 defeat.

But reverse it they will have to if they hope to progress in the competition, a must for Wenger as he sees the league passing from his grip, and looks likely to be outside the top two for the first time in the premiership.
