Roque Junior has signed a new 2-year-contract with German giants, Bayern Munich.

The former AC Milan and Leeds defender has not played as many games as he would have liked in his first season in Germany but has agreed a new contract nethertheless.

There was a clause in his first contract that if he played two-thirds of games, he would sign another contract.

Due to injury set-backs, Junior has only managed 22 games for the German outfit this season but both parties have agreed a new contract anyway.

The world cup winner is currently out with a knee-injury but will remain at the club until 2007.
