Another Italy star to miss Scotland game

suppose as Italy are only playing Scotland, the roll call of missing stars should not matter that much, but it has to be said that the Sweaty ones must be taking heart from the fact that Alessandro Nesta has been added to the sick list.

Now no-one is doubting that Italy should sweep aside Scotoland without really breaking a sweat, of 11 sweaty to be precise, but Nesta is a loss to any side.

He missed the Milan game against Roma, but was hopeful for turning out for the national side, however after being examined by Coach Marcello Lippi's medical team he was allowed to return to Milan.

Lippi has decided against calling for a replacement and it is likely that Juve's Fabio Cannavaro will team up with his former Inter Milan team mate Marco Materazzi in the centre of the Italy defence for the game in Milan.
