At last an Italian star not injured

In what has been a week to forget, at least as far as injuries go for Italy, Francesco Totti has become a ray of light, with the announcement that he will be fit to play against Scotland. Totti had been doubtful as he struggled with a foot injury,
but has now returned to full training and should be ready ahead of the clash at the San Siro. He will be forced to wear a special protective base around his, but at least he will be available.
Italy have already lost both Milan centre back Alessandro Nesta and Roma striker Vincenzo Montella to injury, so this is welcome news indeed.
