Inter Midfielder Emre, has attacked Italian media reports, which quoted him as saying, that he wished he had never joined Inter Milan and had gone to AC Milan instead. Emre, who is wanted by a number of English sides, was quoted saying:
“I should have joined Milan, not Inter. Milan made me an offer as well, but I opted for Inter instead. Now I realize I made a huge mistake as Inter have no future, it can never reach Milan’s levels. I’ll never win anything here at Inter. To make things worse Mancini always plays with the same midfield, he’s too rigid in my opinion.”
But Emre blamed the translation used insisting:
“I’m very sorry that I have involuntarily caused this problem. The problem was the translation from Turkish to Italy.”
Either way it looks like Inter and Emre have finally come to the end and a summer move is more or less guaranteed.
