Juventus News: Chelsea target going no-where

Gianluca Zambrotta has stated that he hopes to remain with Juventus and rebuffs talk of a move to the Premiership and Chelsea. He was tipped to be the big summer target of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho who is looking for a world class left-back.

But despite a €35 million, Zambrotta is adamant that he is staying where he is stating:

"I have a contract with Juve until 2008.”

"Being followed by big teams can only flatter, but I feel good at Juve.

"I hope to stay for a long time at Juve and in Italy."

It may be good news to Juve fans, but to Juve themselves perhaps not so much as they were looking to cash in on a player they paid 10 million for and have a ready replacement in on loan star Giorgio Chiellini.
