Villa star to make German move There are reports emerging that Aston Villa midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger will sign for Stuttgart at the end of the season.

The player will be out of contract with Villa and was unable to agree an extension. He was also unwilling to continue with Villa, out of fear that a lack of first team opportunities could cost him a place in the World cup next year.

He is understood, to have signed a pre-contract with Stuttgart, with a view to a 2 year contract.
