Ahead of Juventus’ game against Liverpool comes the news that their star midfielder Pavel Nedved is saying he will quit at the end of the season in his injury problems continue.
"How am I? I don’t know to be honest," stated Nedved.
"I haven’t played properly for months. It has been a disaster for me since the European Championships.”
"I picked up blows to my knee and my head. If it goes on like this, I’ll retire at the end of the season."
"It’s better to quit before you are ruined," he added.
"Health comes first in life. After all, football isn’t the only reason for my existence."
