Shevchenko ‘I deeply respect Chelsea owner’

Andrei Shevchenko spoke of his deep respect for Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in an interview with L'Equipe, but he also spoke of his commitment to AC Milan.

Shevchenko has been connected with Chelsea several times in the past, and this interview could fuel speculation, that a move is not completely out of the question.

"I imagine my future at Milan, where I have prolonged my contract until 2009,"
stated Shevchenko speaking to L'Equipe.

"Today, I could not play anywhere else in Italy.”

"We will see at the end of my contract.”

"Milan gave me everything and allowed me to win everything. It is important for me to feel at ease here.”
