Spurs stars would welcome Beckham

Paul Robinson and Michael Brown have both stated that they would happily welcome David Beckham to Spurs should he leave Real Madrid in the summer.

Beckham who grew up in London, is rumoured to be unhappy with life in Spain and could be tempted to move and with Daniel Levy recently speaking so highly of the England captain some people feel there is an outside chance of the move taking place.

Martin Jol recently stated that Beckham was a Real Madrid player and that was the end of it, but there seems little doubt that a courtship of sorts is taking place, whether it will lead anywhere is a different matter.
