Litmanen rejects Ajax

Finnish legend Jari Litmanen has rejected a offer from Ajax manager Danny Blind to become his new assistent manager. Litmanen has no intention of quiting football already.

The 34 year old midfielder signed a contract with Bundesliga outfit Hansa Rostock in January that will keep him there till the summer of 2006. Hansa Rostock are fighting against relegation but since the arrival of Litmanen things are getting better.

It seems Litmanen is willing to take the assistent job at Ajax but after he finished his playing career.
