Di Canio stays one more year at Lazio

Paolo Di Canio will stay for another year with Roman side Lazio. Di Canio who returned to Lazio after a long stay in England committed himself to Lazio, all that is left to do now is for Lazio president Claudio Lotito to sign the contract.

"My future will be here," Di Canio told Corriere dello Sport. "I'll be a player for another year."

"To avoid any misunderstanding I have cleared the situation of my contract. The contract is ready."

"Lotito must only sign it and register it with the league. Me and the president have nothing to negotiate."

"I say this and I add that I think there won't be any problems."
