Barça Blow Becomes Barça Boost

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o will be sidelined for only 10 days after a scan revealed his knee injury is not as serious as first feared.

La Liga's leading scorer was stretchered off in Barca's 4-2 defeat to Real Madrid.

But the club's website revealed: "He has an inflamed knee cartilage. This kind of injury usually involves a recovery time of about 10 days."

Eto'o will miss next weekend's league match against Getafe at home.

However, he could return to face Malaga on 24 April.
