Troubled Newcastle striker Craig Bellamy is attracting interest from Spanish side Valencia, who are willing to take a chance on the talented striker.

Although Bellamy is often in the headlines for the wrong reasons, no-one doubts his talent, currently on loan with Celtic after a very public falling out with Newcastle manager Souness, Bellamy is also wanted by Blackburn Rovers and his old Wales boss Mark Hughes.

But Valencia feel they could tempt Bellamy with the lure of life in Spain and they are willing to meet Newcastle’s six million pound asking price for the Welsh international.

And while publicly at least he remains loyal to Newcastle, there is little doubt he will ever play for the club again. So a new start in Spain could suit Bellamy as well.
