Roma move in on Van Der Meyde

Roma move in on Van Der Meyde Roma are attempting an ambitious loan deal in trying to tempt Andy Van Der Meyde to join them from the San Siro.

Van Der Meyde did state his desire to leave a few months back with both Newcastle and Spurs mentioned as possible destinations, but it was thought that he had settled since then and would continue at Inter.

Roma however believe they can tempt the player and will look towards setting up a loan deal in the summer, with a view to making the move permanent.
