Lazio step up chase for Liverpool star

Lazio are set to take the next step in their battle to bring Liverpool midfielder Igor Biscan to the Italian capital. They sent scouts to the Stadio Delle Alpi on Wednesday night to get a close look at the player.

And now at long last with the threat of bankruptcy lifted from the club, they feel it’s time to move on and think of the future. And a big part of that future is believed to be Biscan.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is believed to be drawing up a contract offer for the player who is out of contract at Anfield this summer.

Lazio face competition from Germany, but believe they hold the trump card and the glamour of Serie A could eventually tempt Biscan.
