Roma cast admiring glances at Liverpool star

Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia has been collecting new admirers, this time in the shape of Roma, who were impressed by his displays in knocking Juventus out of the Champions League quarter final.

Roma are of course eyeing replacements for the soon to be departing Traianos Dellas, but have not attempted any formal contact with Liverpool over the players potential availability.

Hyypia is out of contract in 2006 and has yet to agree new terms with Liverpool.
