Spurs to move for Dutch striker

Tottenham are lining up a summer move for PSV Eindhoven striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink according to several sources this morning.

The player with quite possibly the longest name in football, was given his start in football by Spurs chief Frank Arnesen and he now wants to bring the striker to White Hart Lane.

He has done well in the past few years and Spurs boss Martin Jol believes he can be a hit in the Premiership.
