Birmingham confirm interest in Juve star

Steve Bruce has admitted to monitoring Juventus midfielder Stephen Appiah and has intimated that he would like to make a summer move for the Ghana international.

Appiah has failed to find regular first team football with Juventus and is widely expected to eave the Italian giants in the summer and is understood to be keen on a switch to the Premiership.

Bruce stated: "I'm going to be linked with 25 players this summer. There are a few we are looking at. Appiah is on the list that we are looking at.”

"We've been scouring the market for months and months but, yes, he's one we are monitoring and we'll see what the situation is with him."
