Arsenal in for Italian star?

Italian international Alberto Gilardino is reportedly attracting interest from Arsenal. Parma are more or less resigned to losing Gilardino after his goal scored have alerted just about every top side in Europe.

Milan are widely believed to be favourites for the 22 year old, but Arsenal feel they can tempt the player to Highbury.

But it would take some bid to tempt him from Italy and it remains to be seen whether Wenger, who has never bee shy when it comes to spending money on future talent will have enough funds available.
