Chelsea go against Milan for Serie A star

Chelsea are looking to ruin AC Milan’s bid for Udinese star Marek Jankulovski. It had been believed that he was almost certain to join Milan, but Chelsea want to throw a spanner into those plans.

For my money Jankulovski is one of the best players in the world, in his position at the moment and his form for Udinese so far has been nothing short of breathtaking at times this term, and Jankulovski himself admits he is tempted by Chelsea:

"It's only a rumour," Jankulovski told Idnes.

"If there had been a specific offer I would consider it.

"I know of Chelsea's interest only from a newspaper, that's a thing that can't make me nervous.

"That's interesting [the rumoured contract], but I really haven't pondered over it."
