Kluivert confirms Newcastle exit.

Patrick Kluivert has stated that he will definitely be leaving Newcastle in the summer, having endured a disappointing season on Tyneside due to injuries and lack of fitness.

Personally I would have liked to see a hungry Kluivert in the Premiership, and to be fair when he has started for Newcastle there was no arguing with his goal scoring record, unfortunately a long list of injuries and a fondness for pies, have seen those starting opportunities limited.

Kluivert himself has constantly stated he is happy at Newcastle, but it appears that Souness is not happy with him and will not be taking up the 2 year option on the Dutch stars contract.

He has stated that he will be returning to Spain and has been linked with moves to Valencia, Sevilla and Real Betis.
