Liverpool and Monaco monitor Juve starlet

Liverpool and Monaco have both been closely monitoring Juventus star Olivier Kapo, with Didier Deschamps keen to bring the young star back to France, but he will face competition off Rafa Benitez, who has long been an admirer of the player.
Kapo has failed to settle in Italy and could be allowed out on loan for a season to help him find his feet, and Deschamps hopes his close relationship with both Juventus and indeed Kapo (it was Deschamps that originally recommended Kapo to Juve) could tip the balance in his favour.
But the Italian press believe Juventus are keen to sell the player, which would mean Liverpool could emerge as favourites for his signature.
