Milan Vs Juventus early reactions from Milan

Milan may have gone down to Juventus, in what many consider to be a Championship decider but Milan are refusing to give up the fight:

Jon Dahl Tomasson said:

‘Now we are three points behind Juve but today we did our utmost. We unluckily conceded a goal but then we didn't give up. It was a very tough game in which we were not even lucky. We didn't play well in the first half but after the break even Juve didn't create so many goal scoring chances. We tried to come back until the very end, we had a couple of big chances and I think there was a penalty appeal for us after [Gianluca] Zambrotta's foul on [Marcos] Cafu in the box. Now we can rest this week, this is an advantage after having played every three days so far. The title race is not over yet.'

And president Silvio Berlusconi echoed the rallying cry:

’It was not a good day. The game suffered in the first half but we were better after the break. I saw another Milan side in the second half, but they showed too much approximation and slowness to reach the box. We were not able to be effective, there is some tiredness. Now we hope that our players will be able to recover some of their strength and finish well a season that has been fantastic so far. We are sorry, but to a certain point. We faced Juventus being albeit level and on the pitch it was not felt such a great difference. I'll tell the team in the dressing rooms to forget this defeat and this afternoon. Tomorrow is another day, another game and another challenge.'
