Liverpool star considers French switch

Vladimir Smicer has stated that he is considering a move to French club Lens, he is almost definitely leaving Liverpool when his contract ends in the summer and it looks like one of his old clubs are favourites to land the midfielder.

Although he would not confirm the move, he did rule out a move back to his native Czech Republic stating:

"It's still too early to make decisions, but I think about this offer from Lens."

"For the present I am not in a hurry to return to the Czech Republic."
