Spanish star fancies Premiership switch

After being linked with Spurs, Aston Villa and Everton in recent times, Ivan De La Pena has conceded that he would like to sample life in the Premiership.

He has had an amazing season for Espanyol and that has attracted a lot of interest in a star that many were convinced had left his best days behind him.

"I have always said that I would like to play in England and it would be an attractive move for me but at the moment I am concentrating on Espanyol and working hard for the team," he said.

"We are trying to get into the Champions League and we will see where we are at the end of the season."
