Kluivert gone from Toon

Newcastle United have released Patrick Kluivert and while the news is not unexpected, it still leaves a taste of what might have been. He is undoubtedly class, but failed to really show it.

Suffering from minor injuries constantly, and a training ritual which included frequent stop offs at Greggs the bakers conspired to make it a non-starter.

Yet when he did play goals tended to follow and I for one am a little sad no to see him given another season, to prove himself.
