Newcastle: Nice to see we are a Charity now

Aston Villa must simply love Newcastle United, not only do we arrange to have three players sent off against them, to make life easy, then we appear to be willing to sell them three class players for what amounts to under nine million pound.
First there was of course Solano a classy player, with all be it a tendency to go Paddington hunting in darkest Peru, from time to time, but never the less a player we have still not gone anywhere near replacing.
Now the news that a double bid for Bellamy and Hughes, well ok we were never going to get anywhere near Bellamy’s true value, saying as he can never keep his mouth shut. He is however an extremely gifted player and for my money still our most potent attacking threat.
What was the famous saying ‘no one man is bigger than the club?’ Well couldn’t there just be handshakes and apologies exchanged. What am I saying? No of course there can’t. That only takes place amongst adults and Newcastle can be accused of many things but not being run by adults.
Then Hughes, a strange one. Hughes I will grant you is never going to set the world alight, but he is a good enough squad player (we are certainly keeping worse) a nice lad, (come on then tell me when you ever saw him in the papers for doing anything he shouldn’t). All together a model pro, and a lad that should stay at Newcastle, had we any sense.
So come on Villa roll up, roll up, we’re bloody mugs, any of our women you fancy while you’re here shafting us?
