Brazilian claims Premiership interest

Malaga’s Marcio Amoroso is claiming that he has received offers from the Premiership, previously connected with the likes of Portsmouth, Liverpool and Celtic the striker stated that he is considering the offers and would like to remain in Europe.

"I am under contract at Malaga until July 31 and possibly I will have to leave because the club has financial problems, so I am analysing offers that I have received from England and Qatar," said Amoroso.

"The president of Botafogo, Bebeto de Freitas, is a friend and I would sit down with him to talk about the chance of returning to Brazil.

"But the truth is I would prefer to stay some time in Europe because at the moment I am 30 years old and if I go back to Brazil now I don't think that I would then have another chance to play European football."
