Boro’s Bid for Appiah

Middlesbrough have made an official approach for Juventus midfielder Stephen Appiah.

The 24-year-old has struggled to break into the Juventus squad and Middlesbrough are keen to take him on.

 

Chief Executive Keith Lamp said:

 

"He's somebody we have an interest in and if we can do anything there then we will,"

 

"Juventus are aware of our interest but he's just one of a number of players on the manager's list."
