Davids Going Home?

Inter Milan tenacious midfielder Edgar Davids is currently thinking of returning to his native country, Holland. Dutch giants Ajax and AZ are reportedly interested in the services of the 32 year old.

Davids, yesterday, spoke to Dutch television about his future: "I'm currently thinking of a return to Holland, Ajax and AZ are realistic options for me", "But first of all i want to speak to my current club, Inter". Davids expects to leave on a free, although his contract is running untill 2007. "That's something we have to work out and that's one of the reasons i want to speak to them"

Edgar Davids only started 9 games under Inter boss Roberto Mancini and during the season the two clashed because of that. Davids wants to play regularly in order to secure a place in the Holland squad and with Marco Van Basten's selection policy, it's best to play in the Dutch league.
