Everton confirm Chelsea talks

Everton have today confirmed that they are in talks with Chelsea over the future of Scott Parker. Parker has been the subject of growing speculation over the last few weeks, and a move to Everton had been widely tipped by the press.

Parker has failed to win a regular first team place at Chelsea, since his move from Charlton, and now Everton have the lure of Champions League to offer the player, a move seems increasingly likely.

But they may not have it all their own way with a rumoured six clubs chasing the players signature.
