Raul ‘My future is Spain’

Reacting to weekend press speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool, Real Madrid legend Raul, committed himself to a future in Spain and preferably with Madrid.

He had not had the best of season’s last time out, and has stated in the past that he would be willing to leave Madrid, if the management team had thought he was surplus to requirements, but he ruled out a move to England stating:

“I’m not thinking about playing in England."

"My future is in the Spanish league. It would be very complicated for me to go there.”
